Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Deposits & Insights team, you will drive technical design and architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to build robust backend services that deliver personalized spending insights to members. You'll lead multiple projects, improve platform reliability, and evolve experimentation capabilities to help members achieve financial progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development in production at scale
• Experience as technical lead on complex projects
• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks
• Experience with transactional databases and caching systems
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale web applications

Responsibilities

• Drive technical design and architectural decisions while mentoring engineers

• Build and maintain low-latency APIs and backend services
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to ship impactful features
• Improve platform reliability through system architecture, observability, and automation
