💼 About This Role

You'll ensure tax compliance for a fast-growing retail tech platform serving 100,000+ stores in Pakistan, working with cross-functional teams and external consultants to manage all tax filings and reporting. Tax compliance and regulatory updates will be your core focus. This role offers exposure to IFRS and local tax laws in a Y Combinator-backed startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• File income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns periodically
• Liaise with tax consultants for compliance and appeals
• Reconcile input tax credit and manage vendor compliance
• Implement internal controls for tax adherence across teams

📋 Requirements

• CA Finalist or ACCA qualification
• 2 years of industry experience
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Workspace
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and local tax laws

• Experience with FBR portal reconciliations
• Knowledge of sales tax returns (federal/provincial)
• Experience in retail or tech sector
