Description

You will build and lead CHAOS Industries' R&D-focused business with DoD and U.S. Government labs. You will identify early-stage opportunities, align technical capabilities to customer needs, and drive capture from engagement to award, partnering with engineering teams to inform roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, Political Science or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. Government acquisition process including FAR and non-traditional R&D pathways
• Experience supporting Federal R&D proposals/white papers with success capturing complex low TRL awards
• Experience building trust with technical and operational stakeholders and aligning internal execution
• Ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous opportunity monitoring across R&D solicitation channels (BAAs, CSOs, SBIR/STTR, OTA ecosystems)
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of future capability opportunities with DoD labs and innovation organizations
• Perform customer, program, and competitive research to understand priorities and funding pathways
• Develop capture plans at strategic and tactical levels aligned with business priorities
• Attend and lead customer engagements including program manager meetings, lab visits, industry days, and conferences
