💼 About This Role

You'll research and compile resolution steps for potential Computer Network Defense incidents, applying knowledge of threat actors and cybersecurity concepts. You'll work with a government client to monitor, analyze, and track incidents in Arlington, VA. This role requires collaboration across physical locations and shift work (Monday-Friday 1400-2230).

🎯 What You'll Do

• Researching and compiling resolution steps for CND incidents
• Analyzing network alerts and log data for threat detection
• Tracking and documenting incidents from detection to resolution
• Collaborating with internal teams on incident coordination

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of directly relevant cyber incident management experience
• Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
• Knowledge of NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System
• Skill in recognizing and categorizing vulnerabilities and attacks

• Knowledge of system administration and OS hardening
