💼 About This Role

You'll run a high-visibility Azure architecture review for a financial services client, owning the technical direction end to end. You'll write the executive narrative and ensure the roadmap survives budget cycles.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead discovery across nine assessment domains including stakeholder interviews and hands-on Azure tenant review.
• Author prioritized recommendations and a phased roadmap with explicit dependency mapping.
• Direct a Senior Cloud and Platform Engineer on the engagement.
• Run the engagement cadence: kickoff, weekly status, draft review, final presentation.
• Write the executive narrative for a non-technical leadership audience.

📋 Requirements

• Approximately 15 years of experience architecting complex software and infrastructure platforms.
• Deep expertise in Azure Landing Zone design and network topologies.
• Strong command of identity architecture on Microsoft Entra ID including Conditional Access and PIM.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform at scale and working knowledge of Bicep.
• Direct experience delivering assessment work in regulated environments like financial services.

• Prior experience writing assessment reports for mixed audiences.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Familiarity with cost-governance levers and FinOps in regulated settings.
