💼 About This Role

You'll design and optimise data-intensive backend services for live football events used by FIFA and UEFA. Your work will power real-time insights at global scale. You'll collaborate in an agile environment with a focus on scalability and performance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot
• Design event-driven data pipelines for football feeds
• Deploy and scale applications on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
• Enhance system observability with Datadog monitoring

📋 Requirements

• Expert-level Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform)
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Real-time data processing or low-latency systems
