💼 About This Role

You'll join Amity Foundation as a Counselor I in a prison-based Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program, delivering face-to-face rehabilitative services. Your work will help the incarcerated population while enhancing your field experience. This role provides a unique opportunity to work within the prison system.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct individual sessions for release prevention plans.
• Evaluate and document participant progress in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.

📋 Requirements

• Current AOD registration with a DHCS-approved organization.
• Must obtain AOD certification within five years of registration.
• Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse.
• Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS.

• Knowledge of contractual requirements of ISUDTP.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain sensitivity under pressure.
