💼 About This Role

You'll support battery manufacturing processes for electric vehicles at a new gigafactory, focusing on electrical treatment. You'll analyze cell performance data, conduct root cause analysis, and assist the Formation and Assembly teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in low-carbon battery production and advanced manufacturing challenges.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Disassemble cells for electrical, chemical, and material analysis.
• Evaluate battery performance data from lab and pre-production experiments.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify defect sources.
• Provide technical support to Formation and Assembly teams.

📋 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bac+5 in electrical/chemical/mechanical/industrial engineering.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Experience with root cause analysis and defect reduction.
• Programming and data analysis skills in Python, Matlab, or Minitab.

✨ Nice to Have

• Interest in lithium-ion battery manufacturing for EVs.
• Experience with electrochemical analysis and material characterization.
• Experience in failure analysis.
