💼 About This Role

You'll own the day-to-day fund accounting function for Hiive Funds, ensuring accurate setup, transaction entry, and settlement across internal platforms. You'll work closely with the Hiive Fund team, regulators, and third-party vendors to maintain operational precision. This role offers the chance to grow into team leadership in a fast-growing fintech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review investment documentation and ensure accurate system setup and settlement.
• Execute NAV calculations, journal entries, bank and distribution reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly fund financial reports and year-end statements under US GAAP.
• Support external and regulatory audits and maintain fund accounting SOPs.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of direct fund accounting experience in private equity or venture capital.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP with ASC 946 application experience.
• Experience preparing fund financial statements including Schedule of Investments.
• Proficiency in NAV calculations and fund-level reconciliations.

• Experience with secondary market transactions or SPVs.
• Familiarity with Allvue, Investran, or Entrilla fund administration platforms.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or fintech environment.
