💼 About This Role
You'll lead the Engineering Productivity and Cloud Infrastructure team at Baton (a Ryder Technology Lab), owning the people, roadmap, and execution as you scale from a small pod into a durable engineering-leverage function. This role is key to defining world-class engineering productivity at the intersection of a fast-moving startup and a Fortune 500 company.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high performing engineers.
- Own the EngProd 12–18 month roadmap and translate OKRs into prioritized backlog.
- Drive sprint planning, project planning, and milestone tracking.
- Partner with TPMs and peer managers to negotiate scope and unblock dependencies.
📋 Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years directly managing software/infra/devops/SRE engineers.
- Track record managing teams of 2-8 direct reports including hiring and developing technical talent.
- Strong technical foundation in cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience operating in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments with reliability and SLAs.

- Background scaling EngProd/Developer Experience/Platform functions.
