💼 About This Role

You'll own the build and CI experience for a company building a liquid market for GPU offtake. You'll audit the current pipeline and migrate to a hermetic, deterministic build system. This role has high leverage because every hour saved benefits every engineer as the company grows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Audit current build and test pipeline for reproducibility, hermeticity, and speed
• Select and migrate codebase onto a new build system without breaking shipping
• Stand up remote execution and remote caching to improve CI and local build times
• Pin toolchains, seal dependencies, and prevent host environment leakage
• Define long-term roadmap for build, test, and CI as team grows

📋 Requirements

• Senior or staff-level experience running Bazel, Buck2, or comparable system
• Experience operating remote execution and remote caching in production
• Comfortable across TypeScript, Rust, and Python ecosystems
• Strong opinions on determinism and reproducibility with pragmatic judgment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience moving a codebase onto or off of Bazel
• Prior work on developer infrastructure at autonomy, robotics, or systems company
• Experience with polyglot or protobuf-heavy monorepos
