Description

You will perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections, interpret findings for production and engineering, and support development of inspection techniques for complex geometries. Your work contributes to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• NDE Level II certification in line with ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance in listed methods
• 2+ years of experience as level II NDE inspector (preferred)
• Experience in aerospace industry (preferred)
• Ability to lift 25lbs, stand for long periods, and work at heights up to 500ft

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections
• Interpret, evaluate, and report findings to production and engineering teams
• Interpret and review engineering drawings
• Support development of NDE techniques for complex geometries
• Assist in training and developing others on the team
