Description
Support the senior portfolio manager and broader inflation team in exploring and analyzing investment ideas. Develop a fundamental understanding of inflation markets and use qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trading opportunities and assess risk.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in relevant role at top tier bank or hedge fund
- Bachelor's or Master's in finance, economics, or quantitative discipline
- Exceptional quantitative programming skills (Python, SQL)
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop fundamental understanding of inflation market and products
- Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trading opportunities
- Assess risk of existing strategies and develop/maintain spreadsheets
- Support research process including data collection, analysis, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring
- Communicate opportunities to Investment and Leadership teams
