Description

As an AI/ML PhD Intern at Sigma, you'll conduct original research in AI/ML for search, recommendations, NLP, and agentic workflows, and prototype production systems that enhance how enterprises work with data. You'll tackle novel UX problems at the intersection of AI, analytics, and data apps, contributing to scalable AI/ML infrastructure.

Requirements

• Current PhD student studying AI/ML at US accredited university
• Deep understanding of ML, deep learning algorithms, model architectures, optimization
• Baseline understanding of building/deploying production-grade AI/ML systems
• Knowledge of full ML lifecycle: data curation, training, deployment, monitoring
• Desire to bridge research and application

Responsibilities

• Conduct original AI/ML research in search, recommendations, NLP, agentic workflows
