💼 About This Role

You'll own the accounting function for a growing multi-unit business, leading general ledger, financial reporting, audits, and multi-state tax compliance. Your work will directly shape the financial foundation that supports Philz Coffee's expansion. This role is currently remote within the Greater Los Angeles area.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting across 80+ store locations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles.
• Oversee unit-level P&L reporting and analyze store performance.
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years management.
• Multi-unit retail or restaurant accounting experience required.
