You will lead the modernization of Koalafi's core lease servicing platform, decomposing a legacy .NET monolith into scalable microservices using Golang, AWS serverless, and React, while ensuring operational excellence and reliability in high-volume financial systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years professional experience in systems development with legacy system modernization
• Proficiency in Golang for backend services and APIs
• Ability to read and analyze C#/.NET codebases
• Experience with React/TypeScript for frontend development
• Strong familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native architectures

Responsibilities

• Analyze and extract business logic from legacy C#/.NET monolith into modern Golang microservices
• Design and build payment processing, lease management, and servicing APIs
• Create backend-agnostic interfaces enabling gradual migration without disruption
• Modernize and stabilize batch payment processing jobs for high uptime
• Implement observability and monitoring for payment and leasing operations
