💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of software engineers building core site performance and integrations for a WebOps platform supporting Drupal, WordPress, and Next.js. Your work will directly impact how customers develop, test, and release website changes faster and more reliably. This role offers the opportunity to shape engineering culture and mentor talented engineers in a remote-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Guide the team through organizational changes and maintain productivity and morale.
• Manage projects with shifting priorities and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.
• Own the hiring process including interviewing and closing candidates.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with an individual contributor background.
• 1-3 years of direct people management experience.
• Direct experience building websites using Drupal, CMS, and/or Next.js.
• Deep understanding of scalable cloud architectures and relational databases like MySQL.

• Experience working directly with customers or within an agency.
• Open source contributions.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
