💼 About This Role

You'll manage general accounting duties and monthly close for a growing fintech startup. You'll help build a fairer financial system by using AI to automate repetitive workflows. This role reports directly to the CEO.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee monthly close process and ensure accurate financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to automate workflows

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification
• 4-7 years of accounting experience, mix of Big 4 and in-house
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
