Description

You will manage all aspects of shipping and receiving for our OCS branch, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance, and partnering with departments to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Familiarity with shipping software (UPS, FedEx)
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and administrative skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• 2+ years in shipping and receiving or related field (nice to have)
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (nice to have)
• Understanding of import/export regulations (nice to have)
• Higher education or certification in logistics (nice to have)
• Experience with IndySoft (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of all goods, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
• Oversee shipment of all goods, packing for shipment and ensuring accuracy
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents
• Work closely with OCS laboratory team to coordinate and prioritize shipments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain clean and safe environment in shipping and receiving area
• Address and resolve issues with damaged or lost shipments and discrepancies
