Description

You will assist licensed nurses in providing safe, person-centered care for residents, primarily by administering prescribed medications and monitoring for adverse reactions. Your role is vital in ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CMA certification from Ohio Board of Nursing
• Active CNA/STNA certification
• CPR certification
• 12 months direct care as CNA preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications
• Observe residents for adverse reactions and report concerns
• Take and record vital signs before medication administration
• Document medication administration immediately
• Maintain clean and orderly medication room and cart
