💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines for FanDuel's Sports Modeling Innovation team. Your work will directly power data-driven decisions by bridging the gap between raw data and business insights. Data quality and query optimization are at the core of this role.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop data ingestion pipelines for fast, reliable data into SQL and Delta Lakes.
• Maintain validation pipelines to flag and address bad or missing data.
• Manage and optimize existing data transformation jobs across codebases.
• Create and prioritize a backlog of Tableau dashboards and RShiny app enhancements.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analytics or data engineering role.
• 2+ years maintaining databases with a focus on data ingestion pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL, Databricks, R/Python, Tableau, and AWS S3.
• Experience building data pipelines using Python/R and Databricks.

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ) or equivalent experience.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.
