💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain core platform services for Fivetran's data movement platform, enabling 10x growth to 25,000+ customers. You'll lead high-impact initiatives and mentor engineers while using various AI tools to supercharge productivity. This role offers the chance to work across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design, development, and debugging of distributed systems software
• Manage and execute high-impact initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code quality and reviews
• Adopt emerging technologies to improve development processes

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Java and OOP design
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Docker/K8s
• Experience with CI tools like Buildkite or CircleCI

✨ Nice to Have

• Performance engineering background with large-scale systems
• Knowledge of data engineering
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Codex or Claude Code
