💼 About This Role

You'll own the technical direction for Growth engineering at Arcade, building the infrastructure that powers AI agents to take real-world actions. Your core impact is reducing time-to-value for developers, getting them from signup to their first successful tool call as fast as possible. This role stands out because you'll be shaping the Growth function from scratch at a well-funded startup led by founders who previously built and sold Stormpath.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write code across Go, Python, and TypeScript daily.
• Own onboarding flows, MCP Gateway setup, and billing surfaces.
• Build experimentation and measurement layer with feature flags and A/B tests.
• Lead a small team of 1-2 engineers, shifting from IC-heavy to technical direction.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership.
• Deep backend expertise with Go and/or Python in production APIs.
• Architectural fluency across full stack including PostgreSQL and distributed systems.
• Frontend savvy with ability to contribute to a React codebase.
