You will develop core features for the Roku platform, focusing on embedded UI development and algorithm implementation to create intuitive user experiences. You'll collaborate with product management and multiple engineering teams to ship high-quality software that directly impacts millions of users.

Requirements

• Strong embedded C++ experience
• Experience developing UI applications using popular frameworks
• Strong experience in TypeScript
• Experience writing functional integration and unit tests
• Good understanding of API design, considerations and trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Develop core features of Roku Channel app and Roku OS
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, platform services, and release management teams
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues
• Implement algorithms for complex features to improve user intuitiveness
• Develop tools for the broader development community
