Description

You will own manufacturing processes for Rocket Lab's vehicles, solving complex problems and driving production excellence. This hands-on role involves leading integration, testing, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Process Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering
• Hands-on experience debugging complex manufacturing systems
• Strong communication skills for writing KPIs and technical documentation
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with ability to coach junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize robust manufacturing and test processes for Rocket Lab vehicles
• Implement manufacturing best practices (Lean, Six Sigma), own FMEAs, and drive risk mitigation
• Manage RFQs for equipment and tooling to support production operations
• Drive right-first-time project implementations including major CAPEX and process improvements
• Lead root cause analysis, capture lessons learned, and improve technical documentation
