You'll support financial planning and execution for engineering programs at a commercial space station company. You'll partner with engineering and manufacturing leadership to translate technical progress into financial insights for senior leadership. This role offers exposure to hardware development lifecycles from concept to production ramp.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing leadership to support financial planning across hardware programs.
- Develop and maintain models tracking labor, vendor spend, tooling, and program costs.
- Support cost forecasting, headcount planning, capital tracking, and supplier spend analysis.
- Analyze cost drivers tied to design revisions, schedule shifts, and supplier dynamics.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Operations, or related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in engineering or program finance in hardware-focused industries.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience in aerospace, robotics, drone, satellite, or advanced hardware startups.
- Familiarity with hardware development lifecycles from concept through production ramp.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) exposure.
