You'll set up, program, and operate CNC turret punch machinery to produce precision sheet metal components in a Newport News, VA facility. Your core impact is ensuring part quality and production flow while interpreting blueprints and optimizing punch patterns. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with 1st and 3rd shift flexibility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set up CNC turret punch machines with program loading and tooling selection
• Inspect and maintain tooling, diagnosing wear and misfeeds
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools
• Interpret technical drawings and optimize punch patterns

📋 Requirements

• 5 years of CNC turret punch operation experience
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
• Proficient with precision measuring tools such as calipers
• Knowledge of geometry/trigonometry and material properties

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience editing G-Codes
• CAM/CAD software proficiency
• Forklift operational experience
