💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead Toast’s owned media property for the restaurant industry, turning proprietary data into stories and benchmarks that operators and LLMs cite. You'll design growth experiments across unpaid surfaces like search, social, and in-product rails. This role operates with high autonomy and directly impacts brand authority and pipeline.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and own the Toast Media Network end-to-end, from editorial to distribution.
• Lead social and creator programming to build fandom among restaurant operators.
• Design and run growth experiments across channels and formats.
• Own flagship franchises like Data by Toast and newsletters.

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience with media brand building or owned media.
• Led editorial and social/creator strategy at scale.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across brand, marketing, product, and data teams.
• Experience in audience growth and retention with measurable outcomes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in restaurants, hospitality, SMB, or fintech.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Make, Zapier, n8n).
• Experience with analytics platforms.
