Description

You will own the uptime, performance, and reliability of Ritual's validators, managing upgrades, snapshots, and sync performance while serving as the primary technical contact for validator operators. You'll build and automate deployments, orchestrate client upgrades, and produce documentation to support testnet and mainnet operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years operating high-availability distributed systems, including PoS validators on EVM chains
• Proficient in Go and Rust, able to read, debug, and extend EL and CL client code
• Strong grasp of protocol-level concepts: fork-choice, evidence handling, slashing, state sync
• Expertise in Kubernetes/Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD workflows
• Advanced Linux user with deep networking knowledge and system hardening focus

Responsibilities

• Build and automate bare-metal cloud deployments for validators using simulation framework
• Orchestrate client upgrades, parameter changes, and hard-forks with zero downtime
• Profile and patch critical paths for optimal performance of execution and consensus clients
• Produce run-books and maintain clear documentation
• Support validator operators via Discord to ensure healthy staking participation
