You'll help define architecture and build infrastructure to support millions of daily API requests at Resend. You'll scale databases, enhance observability, and work with event-driven systems to handle tens of millions of messages per day. This fully remote role offers autonomy to ship and a low-ego team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define architecture to support millions of daily API requests
• Build and scale infrastructure to send millions of emails per day
• Enhance observability with monitoring tools like Datadog
• Design and operate async pipelines (queues, streams, idempotency, retries, DLQs)

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of back-end engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure
• Experience supporting large workloads on AWS
• Experience with event-driven systems at scale (Kafka, SQS/SNS, or similar)
• Fluent in English and consistent work in Americas timezone

• Experience in Typescript and Golang
