You'll join the Data & Reporting team at Editorialist, building production data pipelines using Spark and Databricks. Your work will transform raw data into critical business insights across Sales, Billing, and User Engagement. This hybrid role blends data engineering with backend development for high-impact decision-making.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark and Databricks.
• Create curated data layers (bronze, silver, gold) for reporting.
• Develop integrations with internal APIs and external data sources.
• Deliver dashboards and reports using BigQuery and Looker.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend role.
• Strong programming skills in Scala and/or Python and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of Apache Spark, Databricks, and big data processing.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, Looker, or other BI/reporting tools.

• Familiarity with Airflow or orchestration tools.
