💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design vision for Deel's AI vertical, shaping conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation across the platform. You'll own end-to-end design strategy for AI products like Deel AI and Akai, working with the Principal Designer to ensure seamless handoff. This role sits at the intersection of conversational AI and agentic experiences, defining how intelligence surfaces across Deel's ecosystem.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define design direction for AI vertical, conversational interfaces, agents, and developer tools.
• Codify craft standards for AI interactions and formalize design patterns.
• Design and prototype at speed, exploring new interaction patterns for AI workflows.
• Drive cross-team collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on AI products.
• Staff-level expertise in crafting conversational AI and agentic experiences.
• End-to-end ownership of design strategy from concept to implementation.
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional teams.
