💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and deploy real-time, map-based UIs for controlling robotic systems like Ghost, Altius, and Bolt via Android (ATAK). Your work will directly impact tactical military operations and involve close collaboration with engineers and end-users. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge defense technology with a clear mission.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, and deploy Android UIs for sensor data and aircraft control via ATAK plugin ecosystem.
• Define APIs for real-time telemetry, vehicle configuration, sensor/payload control, and autonomous tasking.
• Work with frontend (Jetpack Compose, ATAK SDK) and backend (Java/Kotlin/C++/Rust/Golang) technologies.
• Test software using simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight assets.

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with modern Android programming including Jetpack Compose, XML, Java, and Kotlin.
• Proficiency with backend/middleware languages such as C++, Rust, or Golang.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DoD or safety-critical environments.
• Experience with robotic systems integrating hardware and software.
• Experience with 3D geospatial software like ArcGIS, Cesium, MapBox, or TAK.
