Description

You'll build the core platform powering HyperDX, an open-source observability tool that unifies logs, metrics, traces, and session replays. You'll design backend systems and APIs for massive-scale data ingestion and querying, architect cloud-native deployments with Kubernetes and Helm, and drive operational excellence through CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Deep understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and high-throughput data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical databases
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems and APIs for observability data
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-native deployments with Kubernetes and Helm
• Define best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Engineer data ingestion pipelines for petabyte-scale workloads
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers
