Description

You will lead the development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models for credit and fraud risk that directly impact Koalafi's portfolio profitability. You'll own the full MLOps lifecycle, partner with risk and engineering leaders, and translate modeling insights into strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and deploying ML models
• 5+ years writing performant Python in production using pandas, numpy, xgboost, scikit-learn
• 2+ years working on credit or fraud risk models
• Proficient in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative or STEM field

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade credit and fraud models
• Own the full MLOps lifecycle from feature engineering to performance monitoring
• Architect and scale end-to-end ML pipelines
• Design robust model monitoring frameworks for explainability and root-cause analysis
• Partner with leaders to shape modeling strategy and improve credit policy and fraud defenses
