Description

You will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in the Fort Myers, Florida region. Your core responsibilities include maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing or replacing components, conducting performance checks, and responding to power/generator alarms. This role is ideal for independent, self-starting individuals willing to travel and work flexible hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year intense work experience with generator and electrical maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods
• Must pass DOT physical and be willing to travel and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial generators
• Install or replace generator components and systems
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance
• Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; be on call 24/7 as required
• Perform work with awareness of hazards; use safety equipment and practices
