Description

You will plan and deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack, including automated moderation pipelines and reviewer tools. You'll partner with engineering management to set operations standards, mentor engineers, and improve platform reliability through deployments and incident response. Your work will help millions of Firefox users customize their browser safely.

Requirements

• Experience leading and building modern web applications
• Full stack development: React/TypeScript, Django, MySQL
• Platform reliability: Google Cloud deployments, monitoring, incident response
• Feature development: submission flows, trust and safety, DevHub modernization
• Ecosystem moderation: abuse report management, policy compliance

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack (moderation pipelines, reviewer tools, DevHub)
• Partner with management to set Operations Engineering standards (SLOs, incident management, observability)
• Mentor engineers and delegate responsibilities
• Improve platform reliability through deployments, monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and community contributors
