💼 About This Role

You'll join the Calibration, Localization & Mapping team to deliver mission-critical improvements to autonomous vehicle subsystems. Your core impact will be developing production-quality software for HD maps and robust localization. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with multiple autonomy teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement mapping, localization, and sensor calibration algorithms.
• Develop tooling and metrics for performance validation and continuous testing.
• Balance project tasks, code reviews, and research to meet product milestones.
• Collaborate with vehicle infrastructure, hardware, QA, and other autonomy teams.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years industry experience writing C++ in production environment.
• Solid foundation in probability theory and 3D geometry.
• In-depth knowledge of 3D Lidar-based mapping techniques (LOAM, GICP, etc.).
• Familiarity with nonlinear optimization libraries (GTSAM, Ceres-Solver, etc.).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GPU programming (CUDA).
• Experience with camera-based SLAM and multi-view geometry.
• Experience with ROS2 and automated map change detection.
