You'll collaborate with animation and engineering teams to optimize real-time performance and create scalable tools. 🎯 What You'll Do
- Design and maintain character rigs for high-quality real-time animation.
- Develop animation tools to improve artist workflow and iteration speed.
- Optimize rigs and skeletons for memory, runtime, and platform constraints.
- Support animation state machines and blend trees within the game engine.
📋 Requirements
- 3-4 years professional experience as a Technical Artist or Rigger.
- Strong understanding of character rigging, skinning, and deformation principles.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity game engines.
- Proficiency in Python or MEL scripting.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with advanced deformation systems like muscle or corrective shapes.
- Knowledge of procedural rigging tools or node-based workflows.
- Experience with motion capture pipelines, retargeting, and data cleanup.
