You'll define mechanical and cooling infrastructure requirements for AI data center campuses, enabling high-density compute. You'll lead the development of reliable thermal architectures for liquid-cooled GPU racks. This role offers deep hands-on work across design, validation, and operations with a leading AI company.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Define mechanical and cooling infrastructure requirements and reference architectures for AI data centers
  • Evaluate mechanical architectures for high-density compute, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling
  • Develop technical specifications for chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CDUs, and other equipment
  • Lead technical evaluation of vendors and drive factory and site acceptance testing

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior-level experience in data center mechanical engineering or critical infrastructure
  • Deep expertise in mechanical design and commissioning at large campus or multi-site scale
  • Hands-on experience with chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and CDUs
  • Experience designing, testing, or operating equipment in high-density compute or mission-critical environments

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with liquid-cooled GPU rack deployments
  • Knowledge of controls sequences and telemetry requirements
  • Background in hardware R&D laboratory validation
