You will lead direct marketing strategy and execution for Monster Hunter Now, driving player engagement, retention, and monetization through lifecycle communications across channels like email and push notifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with in-game events and progression, and use A/B testing and data insights to optimize campaigns. This role is based in Tokyo, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week.
Requirements
- 5+ years lifecycle or growth marketing experience in tech, gaming, or mobile apps
- Proven track record with data-driven campaigns across email, push, in-app, and SMS
- Experience working with Product and Engineering to set up user lifecycle events
- Solid HTML and debugging skills
- Deep understanding of the Monster Hunter franchise
Responsibilities
- Develop messaging strategies aligned with in-game progression and events
- Drive end-to-end user communication implementation from planning to release
- Improve campaign performance through A/B testing, segmentation, and surveys
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to align messaging
- Ideate and test new in-game features for direct marketing channels
