💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve Scribe's billing platform, powering revenue across 5M+ users. You'll work on a small, focused team building financially critical infrastructure. This role offers real ownership and growth into adjacent monetization systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement billing and subscription workflows including invoicing and renewals
• Build and improve reconciliation processes for Finance and leadership
• Work on event-driven systems ensuring correctness under retries and outages
• Contribute to self-serve and enterprise billing UI and internal tooling

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering, ideally in Python
• Write correct code with edge cases and communicate blockers early
• Take ownership of shipped work and verify it's right

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Stripe or similar payment platforms
• Experience with Django, Celery, or PostgreSQL in production
• Exposure to enterprise workflows or financial reporting systems
