Description

You will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and installations. This role involves extensive travel and on-call duties to ensure backup power systems are operational for critical telecom infrastructure.

Requirements

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred; minimum one year intensive generator and electrical experience
• Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Moderate computer skills
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial generators; install components and systems
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on generators
• Install fuel lines, water supply, pumps, wiring, and controls; test for proper operation
• Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; be on call 24/7 as needed
• Perform work safely with awareness of hazards; use safety equipment and attend safety meetings
