💼 About This Role

You'll join the Giger team building a sandbox platform that lets engineers spin up production-like environments in minutes. You'll design the control plane, scale Kubernetes clusters, and partner with SRE to ensure reliability for hundreds of sandboxes. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain the control plane for dynamic sandboxes
• Develop backend tooling for sandbox automation and lifecycle
• Scale Kubernetes clusters for volatile workloads
• Optimize networking and observability for hundreds of sandboxes

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in Software, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes including controllers/operators
• Experience with Node.js/Go/Python and Postgres, Kafka/Nats
• Experience maintaining 1000-node, 30k+ pod Kubernetes clusters

✨ Nice to Have

• Built internal developer platforms or Kubernetes operators
• Production experience with Postgres Operators like CloudNativePG
• Multi-region and multi-cloud experience
