💼 About This Role

You'll lead the aerodynamic and acoustic design of next-generation propeller blades for quiet, high-efficiency aircraft propulsion systems. Your work will directly shape the performance and noise reduction of hardware that flies. This role offers the chance to build internal aeroacoustic capabilities from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead aerodynamic design and optimization of propeller blades for high thrust and low noise
• Perform aerodynamic and aeroacoustic analysis using analytical methods and CFD
• Plan and support wind tunnel, propulsion rig, and flight test campaigns
• Build and grow the internal aeroacoustic design framework

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in propeller, rotor, or turbomachinery aerodynamic design
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of propeller aerodynamics and blade design principles
• Experience predicting tonal and broadband noise mechanisms in rotating systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Propeller design for electric propulsion or distributed propulsion systems
• Experience supporting propeller acoustic testing using microphone arrays
• Familiarity with aircraft noise certification frameworks
