You will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting during procedures, and administering medications. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or diploma from accredited school highly preferred
• Minimum one year experience as Medical Assistant in clinic, physician practice, or urgent care setting
• Strong knowledge of medical correspondence and electronic medical records
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs and medical histories
• Prepare patients for medical tests and examinations
• Assist physicians during examinations
• Administer medications as directed by physician
• Sterilize medical instruments and remove sutures
