Description

You will manage all technical aspects of the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concept, customer onboarding, and feature requests, while working with customers to leverage the Kentik network intelligence platform. This role involves responding to RFIs/RFPs, collaborating with account teams to meet booking objectives, and attending trade shows.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in high tech sales/solutions engineering or network engineering
• Located on U.S. East Coast
• Experience managing Cisco/Juniper routers and Linux servers
• Strong understanding of network protocols (DNS, BGP, Netflow, TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP)
• Programming proficiency in a scripting language

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of sales process: product demos, proof of concept, onboarding, feature requests
• Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Assist marketing in expanding product collateral
• Channel customer feedback and feature requests to product management
• Collaborate with Customer Success for post-sales check-ins
