💼 About This Role

You'll coordinate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and implement VEG's training programs. You'll split your time between on-the-floor mentoring and strategy work to develop care teams. This role offers the chance to advance towards VTS certification and shape emergency medicine standards.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Assess nurses' competency through observations and knowledge evaluations.
  • Facilitate in-person training for assistants and nurses based on hospital needs.
  • Collaborate with nursing education to develop training programs and objectives.
  • Provide educational opportunities such as webinars, labs, and workshops.

📋 Requirements

  • Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT).
  • Experience in emergency medicine.
  • Teaching and mentoring skills for veterinary technicians.

✨ Nice to Have

  • VTS certification in ECC, Internal Medicine, or Anesthesia.
  • Previous experience in a training role.
  • Willingness to travel within the local region.
