Description

You will help Brex grow and scale globally by providing strategic legal advice on card, banking, and payment products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate regulatory requirements and find creative solutions for business issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in law firms and fintech companies, interacting with bank partners, regulators, and card networks
• Familiarity with federal, state, and international fintech regulations (UDAP, AML, CARD Act, ACH, money transmission)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ownership mentality and comfort with complex matters requiring sound judgment
• Law degree and admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic advice on regulatory requirements for card and banking products
• Advise cross-functional stakeholders on critical regulatory questions
• Track and analyze financial laws and regulations to help Brex stay ahead of trends
• Advise on product and marketing collateral, customer communications, and disclosures
• Draft, update, and maintain customer agreements and terms for card and banking products
