You'll perform high-fidelity structural and thermal analyses for solid propulsion systems at a company revolutionizing aerospace and defense. You'll work with design, manufacturing, and test teams to support development and qualification programs. 🎯 What You'll Do
- Conduct finite element analysis for structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Perform coupled thermal-stress analyses under extreme conditions.
- Develop and validate analytical models using ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to assess nonconforming hardware.
- Prepare technical reports and participate in design reviews.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in structural and thermal analysis of aerospace components.
- Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal modeling tools.
- Understanding of material properties and high-temperature structural behavior.
✨ Nice to Have
- Master's degree with focus on solid mechanics or structural dynamics.
- Experience with solid rocket motors or high-temperature materials.
- Proficiency with ANSYS FEA suite.
